To celebrate the success of Hunger - A Short Film, director CJ Barnes and star Kat Cross made the journey from Gold Coast, Australia to New York City to attend the Artists Forum Festival of the Moving Image.

Screened on October 12th with an incredible selection of films, Hunger  found a very receptive audience. The film garnered four nominations: Best Dark Themes Short, Best Actress, Best Sound Design, and Best Editing. Though the film didn't receive any awards, the team generated a lot of positive buzz. Thanks to Amos White V and the Artists Forum for having us.

The team then traveled to Toronto, Canada for the Open World Toronto Film Festival, where the film again was well received and screened amongst another field of incredible films. Thank your to Sabine Mondestin and Steve Lareau with OWTFF for including us in the festival.

On the way, they stopped off in Cooperstown, NY (which proved to have more creepy hidden-holes than one might imagine) and Niagara Falls.

A Hunger business card found its way on the trip and had as good a time as any, as you can see in the photos.
